Nearly 70 years of flavor is hidden within the alleys of Fengyuan. We started from a single rice mill, and now we produce more miso than anyone else in central Taiwan. To promote the spirit of brewing culture, we established the first cultural tourism miso brewing factory in Taiwan. Our unique barrel-shaped building was built with the environment in mind using recyclable materials whenever possible. We have on display things such as centuries-old antique fir barrels and koji yeast wooden boxes for those interested in the history of miso brewing. We also introduce the history of brewing culture and many different kinds of miso. Even more you can find lots of healthy foods such as wine red yeast rice, soy sauce, fermented black beans, and pickles here. |
If you're interested in the brewing process, don't miss our Miso-handmade class. Brew your own miso, mix the soybeans, rice and sea salt by yourself, then tap them into different sizes however you please. Afterwards, you can bottle it and take it home to your friends and family. After three months of ripening at room temperature, you can enjoy your own miso. Has all that hands-on brewing made you tired? Relax with some of your favorite miso and enjoy it with a smile! |
